Chapter 1 &2 Professor Steve Heller of the California Institute, takes a break from his fractal sentient cloud programs, to see the up and coming singer Laura Silvan. Disaster awaits.
Chapter 7 After being fitted with a "light suit", a uniform with neural networks to activate his paralyzed muscles, Heller has surgery to implant neurophotonic sensory receptors in his brain.
